A Note From Stacy...

Several years ago, I saw my first Accuquilt Studio Cutter. It is a fabulous tool, where a knife is embedded in to a piece of wood, then encased in a layer of foam, so, when it goes under the roller of the machine, it cuts fabric! Lots and Lots of fabric! And Ohhh so fast, and perfectly. I had been teaching my favorite class, "2 for 1 Hula Lessons" for a while, in this class, students learn how to cut a Hawaiian applique so carefully with scissors that they get 2 blocks from 1 piece of cloth. In the class the students use the the fabric I dye, that I call "Hand Dyed Hula Hoops". The cloth is dyed with a circular motion, that radiates from the center out, for use in the Hawaiian Quilt. When I saw this machine, I thought, hummm, if we started with a piece of folded fabric, we could cut Hawaiian Applique on this thing! Throw those scissors away! I presented my ideas to the company, and they agreed it was a great idea! We now have 8 of my designs available for purchase as dies for this machine. Here is a link to my page at Accuquilt for the Studio dies. Just Click here.

Did I mention that my product, SoftFuse premium Paper-backed fusible web is perfect for use with ALL Accuquilt applique dies? Please visit our sister site, ShadesSoftFuse.com to purchase the fusible. It is complicated to explain, but it is all about shipping charges and how websites are set up on our side, that makes us need to sell that product through a another site. As we finish up our new shopping cart, we will sell it here, but only in a "Bundle" - Kit and a roll of SoftFuse, with shipping included in the bundle price... I know, I know,  Too much information!!!

Recently, two more of my designs were added to their line of of designs for their smaller cutters, the Accuquilt Go! and Go! Baby cutters. Go! Home and Go! Ring of Oak.
